Blogging can be powerful in so many ways. And it can be even more powerful when you have a solid stream of blog content ideas.

My blog played a big part in allowing me to take my business full-time (I talk more about that in this video) and it has a key role in terms of how I run my business and online presence today. My readers (aka you!) trust in my tips because I consistently publish content to this blog, that proves I know what I’m talking about.

Your blog posts have the power to:

• Attract new users to your website and turn them into loyal readers.

• Show off your expertise and knowledge.

• Make you one of the go-to bloggers in your niche.

But I see the same problem arising all the time…what happens when you run out of blog content ideas? What happens when you don’t know what to write about?

You might just fall into the comparison trap and blog about what everyone else is blogging about. I don’t want you to do this.

Just because you’ve tried out a few things or read a few blog posts on a topic doesn’t make you an expert in it. Focus on what you’re good at, passionate about and what you can help people with. That should form the foundation of your blog content ideas.

From looking at answers to my reader survey (you can fill it in here if you haven’t already), I have bloggers in my audience from a variety of niches, including:

So your blog content ideas should be centred around the core topic of your blog. Your posts need to attract people who are interested in your industry.
